hudsoninbury ::: Favorites In 1957 my friend and I 'borrowed' his dads MG Magnette which was then brand new. We wanted to see if we could do a 'ton' (100 mph) along the seafront in Brighton England. After removing the rear seats, air filter, spare wheel and anything else we reckoned was not really necessary, we managed about 90 before we ran out of road...
