Please, please, please - do NOT use tip tanks! See my post above. Tip tanks are ugly. Use underwing hardpoints for extra fuel stores - underwing tanks. The looks are far superior and if designed correctly, they can also be removed for aerobatic missions with less impact on overal handling and performance. You don't want to "look like" the L-39, either. Allow the design of the Alpha Jet to guide you when it comes to adding range via external fuel stores.

No! Please do not put "tip tanks" on this airframe! Tip tanks are typically a "sign" of "poor design". If you want to add fuel stores, then PLEASE do the design work on two (2) "Underwing" spec pylon hard points for added range. This way, the underwing tanks can be used for longer range missions, while the aerobatic "mode" would use no underwing tanks for cleaner aerodynamics and better overall responsiveness. NEVER stick tip tanks on a new design. Tip tanks are also very ugly, IMO.

Wow love it, this is what I call GANZTA. It must be an, axial-flow, dual spool turbine engine. All it needs is some extra fuel tanks on each wing tip for extra miles. Anyways this MoFo looks GANZTA and one hell of a jet to fly.
