Description:
New York artist and musician Ken Butler performs at the future site of the Lancaster Museum of Art in Lancaster, Pa. If you've never seen Butler perform, take some time to watch the videos. It will blow you away. He creates his own musical instruments with ordinary and unusual items, and his musical abilities are also superb. Butler has been featured in different venues, including MTV. If you remember M2 when it first came on the air there were quick clips instead of commercials featuring a man playing unusual instruments. That was Butler. This video features Butler playing a classical violin duet using a hammer and an echo machine. |

zmga1 ::: Favorites i wasnt being sarcastic. the challenge was for people to make their own instruments in the most creative ways. i think playing clasical music on a hammer qualifies for "most creative." at least its better than a blow up guitar like a couple other people have done. before you respond to someone else's comment, why dont you take the time to think about it instead of assuming that everyone on the internet is as ignorant or oblivious as yourself. 07-04-29 18:07:31 _____________________________________________________
BulletProofboy ::: Favorites Perhaps it's my ignorance, but I fail to see how "do you want your prize on a plaque or a medal" isn't sarcastic. If you are honestly asking him if he wants his prize on a plaque or a medal, then I apologize. It would help if I had an explaination, maybe you can be the saviour who lifts the ignorance from me. 07-04-30 08:39:03 _____________________________________________________

jutjut417 ::: Favorites im sorry, but the tone of his playing isnt too great. but its most likely the microphone thats recording it. but since its on a Hammer.. i give him his props. but if it was a real violin, i would give him like... a 2/10. :\ 07-05-02 21:12:01 _____________________________________________________

liquidsnake727 ::: Favorites Actually, and I hate to be a smartass, but a camera is recording it. It's being amplified by a contact microphone. And he's playing well, considering he has two strings. 07-06-22 14:44:12 _____________________________________________________
