Cool Talbot of the 50's. Yes It's strange it disapeared to fast, as e.g. for Facel Vega. Peugeot-Citroën still owns the brand Talbot, and they are actually thinking about creating a luxury car again, as Toyota does it with Luxus. But will it be a Talbot? "Some" also say Panhard. We shall see.

Another utterly beautiful car shown by these guys with perhaps the most beautifully integrated fins I've seen on any car. All of these French luxury brands went bust about 1960 due to changes in French taxation laws- I don't think the French government at the time really thought that one through, do you?

Really lovely car... one of the best you have posted... strange that the car is a right hand drive as it was built in France and is in US.. was it originally built for the UK?.. Yes.. Chrysler used the Talbot name in th 70's... very desirable car though!

An interesting approach - it reminds me a little of both a Bristol (an intriguing limited-number British sports/luxury car) and an Austin Healey 3000. As for Talbot - lets just say its own history was quite diverse, being both English and French Talbots... ...the name went away for 20 years, then suddenly returned in 1979 when Peugeot bought out Chrysler for $1US (complete with debts however) - however it was on mainstream rebadged European Rootes-Chryslers and Simcas!.
