Don't ask me how I did it *shrugs* I have NO idea. 5 years ago I was told I had to write my own music. So being a trumpet and piano player I was able to pick up whatever instrument was near to write a song. I've heard so many people say they do their best work writing or painting when they're in that dark place. For me, it goes in cycles. Maybe it's the contrast that creates.
