Cool...I tried doing the same thing using QEMU, with no success...from 2 different workstations! I'll give VirtualBox a try.

Great! I would be glad to accept a video response from you...like how you installed the thing, etc...

Hi. I have to clarify that, I tried to install "Windows" over a "Windows" installation...that is what didn't work, using QEMU. I can run *any* linux variant from QEMU (on a Windows host) without any problem. I still want to try this VirtualBox software. When I get around to it, I'll "record" it and post a video, and I'll let you know. Take care.

What did you use to capture the video so I can use something else? =)

I tried this and it downloaded the needed new packages and its taking forever to install, also when I click terminal it says configuring Virtualbox and there is an OK button but I can't click it. How long does it take to install? Do I have to press that okay button?

I have a dual boot with windows XP and Ubuntu right now. Will I need to re-install XP in order to do this? Any help would be much appreciated.

Ok how about this... I have a dual-screen computer. I installed it and of course I can't install my video drivers for XP, so I can't give it larger pixel settings to take up the 2 screens. Any work arounds or other products that can do that?

I am using a P IV 3 Ghz. The reason why it is running so slow is because I had to play around with the screen recording tool and my new gfx card.
