Description: This is Kristian Cvetkovic playing Beethoven´s Piano Sonata op.57 No.23 in F minor, first movement - Allegro assai (home amateur recording). Kristian was born on 2. November 1991 in Zug, Switzerland and plays the piano since he was 5 (http://www.cvetkovic.com ). Kristian plays this movement intentionally slightly slower than many other pianists, after the e.g. "Barenboim" Konzept. The idea is to allow for "breathing" and show the passion! The understanding is that in allegro assai, the word assai (rather, somewhat) means energy, not only extreme speed. Allegro assai is not equivalent to allegro molto - if this is the case, how one would play the piu allegro at the end of this movement. Share with friends
